Christchurch Earthquake: Supply Delay

Like all New Zealanders, we at SeriouslyBoard were shocked to learn of the earthquake in Christchurch that struck in the early hours of Saturday morning.

We hope that our Cantabrian friends are safe and well, and that you all have great tales to tell!

Unfortunately, the tremors have not only caused great damage, but they may also cause a delay with our next restock.

One of our main suppliers, based in Christchurch, was unfortunately not immune to the earthquake, and a clean up is required.

We politely request your patience if our next restock takes a bit longer to occur than previously expected.

    Hi there,
Me and my son (16) are just starting out with this Gaming thing and want to buy something worthwhile, but don’t know where to begin. Do you by any chance hire out games so that we can get a feel for them first before buying? We are in Lower Hutt.
Many thanks and I hope the clean up after the ‘quake has gone ok.
    Cheers
    Melanie

Melanie, I’d have a go at Ticket to Ride first. It’s one of the first modern board games I played, and I still love it.

The Settlers of Catan is another popular game. It’s maybe a little more tricky to set up, but it’s great fun once you get started.
