Board Games By The Bay – Auckland – done! And normal service resumed.

Just back home after running our first Board Games By The Bay – the 14th of these events. We think it was a great weekend, and a lot of people seemed to agree. There was a bunch of different games being played and people from all points and ages mixing it up. Crokinole made quite an impact with a whole lot of people giving the beautifully made sets a work out, and and four New Zealand designers showcased and play tested their games. Special thanks to our key sponsor, Pixelpark, who continues to support and grow the board gaming community in New Zealand, and SchilMil Games for prize sponsorship. We’ll make sure we widely publicise the next two events for the year (Hamilton 15 – 16 August, Auckland 28 – 29 November) and in the meantime we’ll leave you with some photos to do the story telling.
