Product Description

Discover the enchanting beauty of the golem trade road and its mesmerizing crystals ! Wrap your mind around simple and pure game mechanics combined with a touch of hand-building system that lead to endless strategies and decisions. Century: Golem Edition is truly a magical experience and an outstanding game!

Century: Golem Edition is a re-themed version of Century: Spice Road set in the world of Caravania. In Century: Golem Edition, players are caravan leaders who travel the famed golem road to deliver crystals to the far reaches of the world. Each turn, players perform one of four actions:

  • Establish a trade route (by taking a market card)
  • Make a trade or harvest crystals (by playing a card from hand)
  • Fulfill a demand (by meeting a victory point card’s requirements and claiming it)
  • Rest (by taking back into your hand all of the cards you’ve played)

The last round is triggered once a player has claimed their fifth victory point card, then whoever has the most victory points wins.

A delightful gateway and light game. Turn things into other things and use certain combinations of things to score points.

I really dig this game, it’s light enough that you can have a really good conversation without your mind being bogged down but there’s still enough going on to remain engaged.

    Also, the art is gorgeous!

As a newb to the hobby, “Century: Golem Edition” was a very easy game to pick up and get into really quickly. I still got stomped on by better players, but there is a good balance between light and easy-to-enjoy game play and more serious strategy in the game. Also, with crystals as currency and excellent art, this is a very visually pleasing and pleasantly tactile game.
