Why are all of your prices rounded to the nearest dollar value?
The cynic in us doesn’t like having to fork out a certain number of cents on top of the dollar value to pay for an item. We see it as a misleading marketing ploy and just plain confusing. We figured it’d be better if we just rounded it down to the next dollar! The only exception to this is when you use a discount code.
How do I use my discount code?
Once you’ve added your items to your shopping cart and arrived at the checkout, there will be a text box there for you to enter it into. (Keep in mind that the promo codes are case sensitive.) Then all you need to do is click the ‘apply’ button, and you’re away laughing!
How much does freight cost?
Freight costs $7 per order in the North and South Islands. This covers the courier ticket and packaging. If your order requires more than one package, the freight cost is still $7 for the entire order. And if your purchase totals $125 or more excluding freight, we won’t charge you a cent to receive your order. Please note that deliveries to any other islands, including Waiheke, Great Barrier and Stewart Islands, will incur an additional charge that we will have to add after purchase. Please contact us first for delivery to any other islands, or if you do put an order through then we will need to arrange the additional charge prior to delivery. This additional charge applies even for purchases of $125 or more.
Can I have my order sent to a P.O. Box?
We can send your order to anywhere in the country, but it needs to be a physical address. Our courier won’t deliver to a P.O. Box, so please ensure you give us a street address to enable us to get your order to you as quickly as possible!
How long will it take for my game to be delivered?
Packages typically take a minimum of 2 to 3 business days – depending on your location – from when we send them to when they arrive at your door. We also track the tickets to ensure you receive your game promptly.
SOUTH ISLAND DELIVERY DELAYS:
15 Nov 2016: Because of damage to infrastructure at the ferry terminals at Wellington and Picton, and the closure of Stage Highway 1 from Blenheim to Waipara, there will be delays for all inter-island orders. Deliveries to all locations in the South Island is likely to be a 3 or 4 day service for an indefinite period. Please note this is 3-4 working days, and an estimate only. We cannot guarantee delivery times. We will provide updates if this situation changes.
Can I pick up my purchase?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a pick up option.
What if I can’t find the game I’m looking for?
While we’d love to have the entire range of available games in stock and on the website at all times, that just isn’t feasible. But just because it isn’t on the website, it doesn’t mean we can’t order it in for you. If you’re unsure, the best thing to do is to contact us and we’ll see what we can do for you.
How can I get email updates sent directly to my inbox?
On the home page, there is an option to sign up for email updates from SeriouslyBoard.co.nz. These are tied in with our blog entries, so that you know when we have a new tidbit of news that you may be interested in. We hate spam as much as anyone, so we won’t send you any, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
What happens if I lose a piece from my game?
If your game is missing something, contact us and we’ll get in touch with the publisher on your behalf. Most publishers are obliging and will be only too happy to send out replacements.
What if my question isn’t here?
