Ticket to Ride: Europa 1912 is an expansion for the Ticket to Ride: Europe base game, bringing with it the use of train depots and three new styles of play.
These three styles are:
- Europe Expanded: Played the same way as the original Ticket to Ride: Europe, but with the inclusion of the 19 new standard destination tickets.
- Mega Europe: Add all 12 long distance destination tickets into the selection mix, allowing players to choose their preferred long route.
- Big Cities Of Europe: Target the major European cities with the Big Cities cards.
Warehouses and depots are also featured in Ticket to Ride: Europa 1912, allowing players to stockpile and steal piles of train cards from player-chosen cities.
Ticket to Ride: Europa 1912 is compatible with any base game from the Ticket to Ride series, but is especially suitable for Ticket to Ride: Europe.
